On August 15 and 16, 2025, in Sturbridge, MA, the stars aligned and movement leaders across the state gathered at the inaugural Tables Upon Tables convening.
For over a year, Carolyn Chou (Homes for All MA), Dwaign Tyndal (Alternatives for Community and Environment), Noemi Ramos (New England Community Project), Shanique Rodrigues (MA Voter Table) and T4MA have been forging a deeper alliance and dreaming up a statewide gathering aimed at uniting diverse grassroots efforts to confront urgent challenges and cultivate a movement for lasting change.
In those 2 days, we shared and examined what our organizations are working on, where we are at in this moment, and how we can weave collective efforts that leverage on each other’s strengths. The event was a powerful act of resilience with the resolve to harness collective power to protect communities.
