TRANSIT IS ESSENTIAL (TIE)
Transit is Essential (TiE), a diverse coalition of more than 60 mobility, environmental justice, labor, and business organizations.
We believe that public transit is a public good, and that an accessible, affordable MBTA is critical to the wellbeing of all those who live, work, worship and play in the MBTA region.
REGIONAL TRANSIT AUTHORITIES ADVOCATES COALITION (RTAAC)
RTAAC is a coalition of 80+ advocates, community members, human service providers and local leaders who believe that the people who use Regional Transit Authorities deserve safe, reliable, and equitable service, and that this reflects our commitment to all riders across the state of Massachusetts.
T4MA'S POLICY COUNCIL & DISTILLERY
As part of T4MA’s commitment to democratizing decision-making as a coalition, we have constituted a Policy Council comprised of representatives from each of our member-organizations. The Policy Council determines the coalition’s policy priorities every 2 years and provides guidance on how the coalition advocates for these priorities. A subset of the Council composes our Policy Distillery which sets out strategies and methodologies for achieving policy outcomes.
