What's happening in the biennial session?
This interactive calendar is of the 2-year legislative session and highlights important dates for the budget, legislative, and ballot initiative processes. You can use the labels as filters for each type of process, select which month/year you are interested in viewing, or check out the list version for a full view.
In addition to the calendar, there is a Glossary of commonly used terms throughout and an advocacy Toolkit with suggested tactics on how to influence decision makers.
The calendar is meant to help identify when to best target and communicate with legislators before important decisions are made on the state level to influence legislation and policies. We hope that you will find this useful for your work in your community.
