Senate budget amendment deadline
The Senate usually releases the SWM proposal mid May and sets an amendment deadline for amendments to the budget. Senators usually file between 700-900 amendments for consideration. Advocates can work with Senate members to draft and submit amendments to the budget during this time.
Take Action
→ Draft potential amendments working with Senators and ask them to file amendments. Ask other members to sign on to amendments and talk to the media about amendment priorities. Send action alerts to T4MA members and allies. Check out our tipis on writing an op-ed.
